Royal Worcester - Music for royal occasions concert

In the beautiful surroundings of Crowle Church, Worcester Cathedral Chamber Choir will perform highlights from its latest recording Royal Worcester – A Celebration of Music for Royal Occasions.
Just one week after Harry and Meghan tie the royal knot, this a chance to hear music heard at William and Kate’s 2011 wedding, plus pieces familiar from other magisterial events down the centuries, such as coronations and jubilee celebrations, including Handel’s Zadok the Priest. Music by Sir Edward Elgar and CV Stanford’s Three Motets will also feature.
Half the proceeds from the evening will go towards the church's building fund. Tickets £10 (£5 u16s) are available from the Church (Myra Brierley), Crowle Post Office or from Sue Standford on 01905 381820.
